there's this poem. it has a line in it that goes something like "you don't need to steal my heart. i'll hand it to you" but that might be paraphrased and that's all i remember anyway. it was part of my toilet reading at k's house over labor day weekend.

i can't find it and no amount of googling is helping. it's driving me batshit insane!

i met ira in october of 2004. she came over to help l. paint his new apartment. after inhaling hours worth of paint fumes, we were laying down on the tarp on the floor and everything was hysterical. for some reason i remember that we drank beer and tea. it was a good day.
